Abstract: | 'Frankenstein's Camera' is a series of nine augmented landscapes, created by modifying the artist's own photographs using a custom Style Transfer model, trained in Runway ML, and text prompts derived from Mary Shelley's 1818 novel 'Frankenstein'. Deliberately blurring the line between a photograph and an AI-generated image, the series forms part of the artist's ongoing practice-led research into photographs as software and the use of Generative AI within the context of an expanded photographic practice. | ||||
