Katherine is a multidisciplinary researcher based in the Institute of Design Innovation (InDI).
She employed as a Research Fellow within the AHRC-funded Knowledge Exchange Hub ‘Design in Action’ (KEHDiA) programme which is a Scotland-wide partnership between: Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, University of At Andrews, University of Abertay Dundee, Edinburgh College of Art, Gray’s School of Art and The Glasgow School of Art. DiA applies strategic design principles to support the development of innovative products, processes and services via the Chiasma method. The resulting design-led innovation is argued to help to ensure that Scotland can maximise its capacity to operate effectively, contribute to the creative economy and compete in world markets.
