Graham Ramsay is Reader in Contemporary Art Practice and teaches on the MFA programme. He is also one half of the artist duo Beagles & Ramsay. Two key interweaving currents of interest inform the work of Beagles & Ramsay. Firstly, a form of fictionalised self-portraiture, and secondly a humorous & satirical examination of aspects of contemporary consumer culture and politics. They have exhibited internationally at the Venice Biennale, PS1 MOMA, New York, The Migros Museum, Zurich, New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York, Living Art Museum, Rejkjavik and the Rotterdam International Film Festival. Their work is held in numerous public & private collections.
Graham has taught widely in the UK and has been an external examiner on other MFA courses.
