Abstract:

To celebrate the opening of the jewelry gallery at the MFA
Boston in 2011, Mobilia Gallery curated an
exhibition “Objects of Status, Power and Adornment: The
Studio Jewelry Movement 1950-2011”. They invited internationally
known masters in the field of metalsmithing, as
well as emerging talents, all of whom work with a myriad of
diverse materials and techniques to creatively explore their
vision and interpretation of jewelry.
