Abstract:

This report explores the provenance of the pilot research programme Archipelago 136 of the Institute of Design Innovation. Covering a three year period, this report looks at the initial relationships developed through the Ionad Hiort Project, followed by the evolving research projects of Island Bearings, Songlines, and Digital Makers. It looks at the strategic outcomes in encouraging creative capabilities within the island communities and laying out a landscape of development for the region.
