Abstract:

I was invited to give a public 5 hour lecture on the possibilities of Computer aided design in the production of wearable artefacts at Tsinghua University Beijing.

The morning (3 hour lecture) focused on makers who have pioneered processes, Makers who used brand new technologies and makers and artists who used production techniques in unusual and innovative ways.

The afternoon (2+ hour lecture) focused on my own research strands, in particular the connection between digital practice and complex casting systems.
