Abstract:

Where do you draw the line? That is often the question when it comes to balancing the care of collections with the public's desire to see them...how much is too much? What is too little? And do we really know? Is the line different in every site? This session brings curators and collection care managers from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and from Great Britain to talk about how different museums answer those questions, and how you decide what is appropriate for your site.
