GENERATION Reader is published by the Trustees of the National Galleries of Scotland and Glasgow Life to accompany the series of exhibitions, GENERATION: 25 Years of Contemporary Art in Scotland', held throughout Scotland in 2014. 'Opening Speeches' is a short story that explores the complex dynamic of art institutions and the roles of those who work within them.
