Abstract:

This presentation discusses InfosmART, the Glasgow School of Art Library’s award-winning portfolio of online interactive modules in information and research skills. Firstly it explores the context, both generic and GSA-specific, that encouraged us to develop InfomsART in the first place. It then outlines some key findings from the evidence-base that informed our development work, before exploring each of the 5 modules one-by-one to outline what each module contains. It discusses the pedagogies upon which InfosmART is scaffolded, and analyses the impact it has had on our students and in the sector to date.
