Abstract:

During her time as Head of Jewellery & Silversmithing at Edinburgh College of Art, renowned jeweller and educator Dorothy Hogg MBE inspired students in the workshop and beyond. Over a series of Interviews, alumni of the programme during Dorothy's tenure between 1985 and 2008 reflect on the lasting impact of her teaching throughout their diverse career paths. With humour and illustrative memories, these stories bring to life the world of the workshop at Edinburgh College of Art.
