Dr Jonathan Baldwin is the programme leader for the MDes Design Innovation suite of programmes, and has experience as a design educator and senior management in universities throughout the UK.
A former self-taught graphic designer, he has been active in pedagogic research in design education, assessment, and creative practice, and has written a successful text book for students of visual communication.
His PhD examines 'the creative academic', looking at the university environment as a space for (or working against) everyday creativity in teaching and learning.
